Imagine a sport focused on innovation, design, engineering, and battling bots. The Upper School Robotics Program has now been elevated to a sport with the goal of competition against various schools.

It was a night of celebration as Upper School students were recognized for their academic aptitude and scholarly success during the annual Honor Roll Dinner. The accolades celebrated included Honor Roll designation, AP Scholars, and Cum Laude Society induction.

In what turned out to be a perfect fall weekend, the Hamden Hall community celebrated Homecoming 2024 in style with our fourth-annual Color Run, alumni gatherings, and athletic games over at the Skiff Street Athletic Complex.

Establishing lifelong peer connections begins with open discussions and team-bonding experiences as acknowledged by the 14 seniors selected for the Peer Leadership program in hosting Activity Day at the Skiff Street Athletic Complex for the freshman class.

September 15 through October 15 marks the month-long celebration of Hispanic Heritage Month, which recognizes and honors the rich history, cultural diversity, and contributions from Hispanic and Latino communities. Here under the pines, all three divisions are and will enjoy various activities and programming including a high energy, lively performance by musical guests The Hartt Salsa All-Stars during assembly time on Friday, September 27.

Augur Field was buzzing with conversations and an array of games and activities for the first interactive activity day as 31 Upper School students took on their respective leadership roles as part of the Middle School Advocates Program. Standing on the stage of the Taylor Performing Arts Center, acclaimed writer and author Andre Dubus III eloquently echoed similar sentiments as he performed an excerpt from his latest essay collection, Ghost Dog: On Killers and Kin for Upper School students and faculty during the Visiting Writers Series.

Hamden Hall is pleased to announce that entrepreneur and former Boys’ Varsity Basketball Coach David Beckerman will deliver the keynote address to graduates at the 2024 Commencement Ceremony on Friday, June 7.

Each year, people around the world come together for the Write for Rights Campaign by Amnesty International, a global letter-writing marathon advocating for human rights. Members of Hamden Hall’s chapter of Amnesty International penned a handful of letters advocating for social justice, promoting human rights, and showing solidarity with all.
