Singing Traditions Celebrated at Choral Winter Concert
Choir students returned to the stage in Taylor Performing Arts Center to perform a selection of secular music at the Winter Concert.
Directed by Upper School music teacher Matthew Harrison, the concert opened with junior Analiese Driscoll performing Sebben,crudele in Italian and junior Justinian Ding performing Caromio ben in Italian.
The program continued with students performing Missa Festiva, which is broken into five movements, in Latin with a brief intermission following. The full choir returns to perform full mass song selections and chants.
Throughout the rest of the program, students sung each selection in English, Mandarin, German, Italian, and Ukrainian.
