The Students

  • One hundred percent of our musicians who auditioned at regional choral and instrumental competitions earned a spot, and we are traditionally the most represented school.

The Campus  
  • Fifty-one acres located in Hamden, Conn., a residential community adjacent to New Haven. Three campuses located at 1108 Whitney Ave., 225 Skiff St., and 20 Davis St.
  • Our Whitney Avenue Campus features nine major buildings including a science center, theater, library and art studios; three technology centers, MakerSpace Design Lab, and music suite with choral and instrumental practice rooms and classrooms.
  • The Skiff Street Athletic Complex, located one mile north of the main campus, is a 30-acre facility featuring a multi-sport artificial turf stadium, multiple fields, six outdoor tennis courts, and our renowned Beckerman Athletic Center. Called the BAC, the 65,000-square-foot facility includes a natatorium, three basketball courts with an elevated jogging track, fitness center, multipurpose aerobics room, locker rooms, student lounge, and study center.

• After School Academy featuring Extended Day, Extended Courses, and Extended Activities during the after-school hours and non-school day coverage throughout the year and summer for students in Grades PreSchool through Grade 8.

• Over 50 varsity and sub-varsity offerings at the Middle and Upper School levels.
