Conference Win for Boys’ Varsity Ice Hockey

The Boys’ Varsity Ice Hockey Team welcomed Fairchester Athletic Association League rival St. Luke’s School to Blake Rink for a game on Wednesday, January 29, winning 8-6.

With home rink advantage, the team was fired up and ready to go. Junior Noah Bush scored three goals for the Hornets with junior Vincenzo Federico also scoring three goals and one assist. Sophomore Chris Tombaugh scored two goals and three assists. Sophomore Andrew Feldman had three assists, and junior Eli Kane had one assist. Senior Bryan Hong made 37 saves in the net to secure the final victory.

"The team showed incredible grit, teamwork, and composure, especially in the tight moments," said Coach Dante Tomassini. "Everyone stayed locked in and kept pushing. This victory is a testament to our resilience and commitment as a team." 

The record for the season is now 7-2. The team returns to the ice for a game against Rye Country Day School on Friday, January 31, at 5:45 p.m.
