Boys’ Varsity Wrestling Advances to New England Tournament
The Boys’ Varsity Wrestling Team traveled to Pomfret School to compete in the Western New England Prep School Wrestling Association (WNEPSWA) Tournament on Saturday, February 8.
The small, but mighty team competed well against its opponents. Coach Kiernan Griffin 2000 noted that senior Kevin Li, sophomores Carmine Cariati and Gavin Giugno, and freshman Trin Sukduang had successful matches and all placed in the top 6. Both Carmine and Gavin advanced to the New England Tournament.
The team travels to New Hampshire for the New England Tournament hosted at Phillips Exeter Academy on Friday, February 14, and Saturday, February 15, with a time to be announced.Hamden Hall Country Day School
