Mady Gobrecht and Husband Expecting First Child

Jodi Amatulli
Madeline “Mady” Gobrecht, Hamden Hall Class of 2007, reports that she and her husband, Greg Moviel, are expecting their first child at the end of April. The couple lives in Colorado Springs, Colo., having moved there after living in Texas and Washington, D.C. Mady and Greg were married Sept. 27, 2015 at Camp Lucy in Dripping Springs, Texas, outside of Austin. They moved to Colorado Springs to be closer to Mady’s parents. Mady, who taught for several years after graduating from Yale University in 2011, is attending the University of Colorado College of Nursing in Aurora, Colo. Mady is a student nurse and currently a technician on a surgical trauma floor. She plans to work in the emergency room upon graduation (in a few months) with the hopes of becoming a family nurse practitioner. Mady helps out as the assistant coach at Rampart High School in Colorado Springs. Greg works for Stryker Sports Medicine in sales outside of Denver. Mady’s mother, Chris, who was her basketball coach at Yale, is the head coach at the Air Force Academy where Mady's brother, Eric, attended from 2005 to 2009. Mady’s father, Bob, continued to work for Special Olympics as president and managing director for North America until the Gobrechts moved to Colorado. Congratulations to Mady and Greg on all their goods news!
