Hot Streak for Boys’ Varsity Baseball

The Boys’ Varsity Baseball team took the field against Harvey School on Monday afternoon, April 18, coming away with a win 10-1. 

Senior Cameron Maldonado started the pitching rotation strong with back-to-back strikeouts followed by another scoreless two innings by pitcher junior Noah Pakutka for a combined no-hitter game by the end of the sixth inning.

Coach Brad Chernovetz noted game highlights included two hits by players Cam Maldonado, sophomore Brady Chernovetz, freshman Lucas Ametrano, and freshman Bennett Crerar to secure the victory. The team now has won three consecutive games.

The team is back in action at the Skiff Street Athletic Complex against King School on Tuesday, April 19, at 4:30 p.m.
