The Boys’ Varsity Soccer Team traveled to the Williams School for an afternoon game on Friday, September 22, winning 1-0.
Seniors Julien Gangloff and Eric He, junior Niko Millhouse, sophomore Kaleb Fiore, and freshman Yavuz Nugay all led the defensive effort while senior Eli Parson kept pressure on the opponent and freshman Leo Dottori controlled the midfield. Freshman Theo Baron excelled in the net with a huge save as junior Tyrese Cedon secured the win with the game-winning goal with junior Cristiano Fernandez on the assist.
“The team continues to show a lot of heart and character,” commented Coach Michael Moore. “Great teamwork throughout the whole game. I could not be more proud.”
The team takes on Emmanuel Christian Academy for a non-league away game on Tuesday, September 26, at 3:30 p.m.
