The Girls’ Varsity Soccer Team traveled for an afternoon game against Rocky Hill School of RI on Tuesday, October 24, winning 11-3.
Senior Lily Joseph netted eight goals for the Hornets while fellow senior Lily Schoonmaker and eighth-grader Nala Annes both scored one goal. Senior Elizabeth O’Hern netted a goal off a corner kick to land the final victory.
“The team played well and did a good job connecting the passes in the second half,” commented Coach Roland Joseph.
The team also competed against Greenwich Country Day School on Saturday, October 21, ending the game with a tied score of 2-2.
The team returns to the field for its Homecoming game against MacDuffie School on Saturday, October 28, at 3 p.m.
