Home Court Advantage for Girls’ Varsity Basketball
The Girls’ Varsity Basketball Team welcomed Holy Child School for a home game on Saturday, January 25, winning 54-30.
Taking the court at the Beckerman Athletic Center, senior Emma Olausson led the way with 18 points as junior Tessa Porch was right behind with 15 points. Junior Reilly Chernovetz netted 14 points and sophomore Trinity Robinson added 10 points to the scoreboard.
After a slow start, everyone picked up the defensive pressure and we were able to build momentum toward a large lead,” said Coach Brian Johnson.
The team record for the season is now 9-5. The Lady Hornets stay home at the Beckerman Athletic Center for a game against Fairchester Athletic Association League rival Greenwich Academy on Wednesday, January 29, at 4:30 p.m.
