Boys’ Varsity Ice Hockey Secure Consecutive Wins

The Boys’ Varsity Ice Hockey Team welcomed Harvey School at the Ralph Walker Rink for a home game on Monday, February 3, winning 7-3.

Taking the ice, the team was ready to go. Sophomore Andrew Feldman scored three goals and junior Vincenzo Federico scored two goals and two assists. Senior Niko Millhouse and junior Eli Kane both scored one goal respectively. Sophomore Chris Tombaugh had three assists, junior Max Rickey had one assist, and sophomore Michael Feldman had one assist.

“It was a well-rounded performance that highlighted their teamwork and determination,” said Coach Dante Tomassini. “Their solid defense and quick transitions were crucial in maintaining control, while their offensive execution was sharp and effective.”
Coach Tomassini noted that Andrew Feldman was named Player of the Game. The team also won its previous game against Avon Old Farms (JV) with a score of 8-0. The overall record for the season has improved to 9-3.

The team takes on Fairchester Athletic Association League rival Rye Country Day School at the Hamden Louis Astorino Ice Arena on Friday, February 7, at 5 p.m.
