Hot Bats for Boys’ Varsity Baseball

The Boys’ Varsity Baseball Team traveled to Rye Country Day School for a league game on Friday, March 28, winning 11-3.

Taking the mound, junior and starting pitcher Amato Civitello struck out eight players over six innings and only gave up one earned run. At the plate, he went 3-for-4 scoring four runs, hitting a triple, and stealing four bases. Senior Logan Charboneau scored two runs with one home run and one double. Junior Billy Cole went 2-for-3 with a run and stolen base as sophomore Jey Scanlon had three RBIs and one run.

Coach Brad Chernovetz noted that the team record is now 2-0 in Fairchester Athletic Association League play.
