Captain Samuel Bowlby, Class of 1999, was an Infantry Officer in the U.S. Marine Corps on active duty from 2004-2008. On his first deployment, he served as an Infantry Platoon Commander in Karmah, Iraq in 2006. In 2007 he deployed to Fallujah, Iraq, serving as Company Executive. Brother of Phillip Bowlby 2003, Sam said, "I absolutely loved my 6 years at HH. Too many fond memories to mention, but my entire 6th grade year with Mr. Gonnelly was really wonderful."
