After graduating from Hamden Hall in 1988, John Persano attended Kenyon College and received his bachelor of art's degree in political science. He also attended San Diego State University, where he is currently an adjunct faculty member in the SDSU Master's in Homeland Security Program.
In 2016, John founded Ceveal Solutions, LLC., a company in California designed to assess leadership and team dynamics of industry talent.
John is a colonel in the U.S. Marine Corps Reserve, and serves as an aviator and as a civil/military integration officer. He joined the Reserves in 1992.
