Financial Aid

The Hamden Hall need-based financial aid program is designed to make a Hamden Hall education possible for all families based on demonstrated financial need and the availability of financial aid funds. Hamden Hall uses Clarity to determine a family’s level of financial need based on the information that families share in the application, which includes assets, income, expenses, and debts.

To get started, please go to the Clarity Application and create an account. The application typically takes less than 30 minutes to complete and is mobile-friendly so you can complete it from anywhere. You are also able to save your progress and return at any time. At the end of the application, there is a $60 submission fee.

Applications for need-based financial aid must be submitted during the admissions process for new students and cannot be submitted after an admissions decision has been made. The deadline for completing the financial aid application including relevant supplemental documents is January 15.  Applications will be accepted after this date on a rolling basis if funding is still available.

If you need assistance during the process of completing your application, there is in-app support available through the “Help” button in the bottom left of the screen, as well as email and phone support at support@claritytuition.com or 206.210.3752, in both English and Spanish.

Please do not hesitate to contact the Financial Aid Office at 203.752.2653 with any questions about Hamden Hall’s financial aid policies or procedures.

Financial Aid For Divorced And Separated Families
We require that both natural parents contribute to the cost of education to the extent of their ability. The non-custodial parent must also complete a Clarity application.

Weber Scholarship

The Weber Scholarship is an endowed scholarship in memory of Hamden Hall alumni siblings Anna, Emma, and William Weber. Hamden Hall is seeking motivated, talented students who will be successful in our academically challenging program and have a desire to be an active member of our school community. Hamden Hall is fortunate to be able to give several partial scholarships each year to new students entering grades 7-10 who are in the top five percent of the applicant pool. All applicants are considered for this special scholarship. In addition to demonstrating good citizenship, recipients must also exhibit outstanding academic potential as determined by their performance on the competitive examination (ISEE or SSAT), their academic record, and extracurricular involvement.
