Fourth Annual Ernie the Hornet Giving Day Commences May 2

Mark your calendars and celebrate our fourth annual Ernie the Hornet Giving Day next Friday, May 2. Join us during this special 24-hour period in which our entire school community is encouraged to give gifts to support our mission to educate young people while providing an outstanding daily campus experience.

The best thing about this special day of giving is that it's steeped in tradition in that it celebrates our beloved former faculty member and longtime Hamden Hall community member, Ernie Russ, for whom our mascot is named.

As Mr. Russ was a science teacher, it seems only fitting that we dedicate this year’s Ernie the Hornet Giving Day to our Science, Innovation, and Design programs. All gifts given will support our various STEM initiatives.

Our campus will be buzzing all day with school spirit, special treats, and visits from Ernie the Hornet himself. Students in all three division will partake in science experiments, projects, and other fun activities. All community members are encouraged to wear green and white and anything Hamden Hall to show their support!
