The Girls’ Varsity Basketball Team traveled for a non-league game against Millbrook School on Friday, January 10, winning 79-70.
Following a recent loss, the team was fired up and ready to go. It was a back-and-forth effort between the Hornets and the Mustangs throughout the game, but the team secured the final win. The team record for the season is now 7-4.
“The team is continuing with great energy, talking on every play,” said Coach Brian Johnson. “I am proud of them as all players had super contributions on both sides of the court.
The Lady Hornets return to the court at the Beckerman Athletic Center for a game against Fairchester Athletic Association League rival Greenwich Country Day School on Wednesday, January 15, at 4:30 p.m.
