Boys’ Varsity Basketball Nets Home Win

The Boys’ Varsity Basketball Team welcomed Watkinson School for a home game on Monday, February 10, winning 81-24.

With home court advantage at the Beckerman Athletic Center, the team was ready to go. Eighth-grader Massa Toure led the Hornets with 20 points with senior Jaden Iannacoone right behind with 16 points. Senior Ben Miller, junior Amato Civitello, and sophomore David Tvardzik netted a combined 31 points. The second half saw on-the-court action from junior Cole Christman, sophomore Christian Cournoo, and freshman Jacob Huckaby.

“Good win for Hornets as every player came out hot and stayed hot for the entire game,” said Coach Sean Doherty.

The team stays home at the Beckerman Athletic Center for a game against Brunswick School on Friday, February 14, at 4 p.m.
