Game, Set, Match Win for Boys’ Varsity Tennis
The Boys’ Varsity Tennis Team welcomed Canterbury School for a home match at the James R. Maggart Tennis Courts on Wednesday, April 2, winning 6-1.
Senior and captain Matthew Manniatty won his singles match in the first spot with a score of 6-2 and 7-5. Double teams junior Loic Eklund and eighth grader Rayan Shahzad won their sets with a score of 6-0 and 6-0.
“It was great to see the team get the first win of the season at home,” said Coach Kevin Brueler.
The team travels to Greenwich Country Day School for a match on Wednesday, April 9, at 4:30 p.m.
