The Boys’ Varsity Ice Hockey Team traveled for an away match against Brunswick School on Thursday, January 9, winning 12-0.
The team dominated the first half, scoring eight goals in the first period. Junior Vincenzo Federico had five goals and two assists as fellow junior Noah Bush had three goals and one assist. Sophomore Chris Tombaugh scored two goals and three assists and sophomore Andrew Feldman had one goal and two assists. Freshman and goalie Diego LeBrone notched his first shutout of the season.
“The team came out on fire and dominated the whole game,” said Coach Dante Tomassini. “Everyone hustled out on the ice and we are back on the win train heading to the next game.”
The team record for the season is now 4-1. The Hornets return to the ice for a game against King School on Wednesday, January 15, at 3:50 p.m.
