League Win for Boys’ Varsity Ice Hockey

The Boys’ Varsity Ice Hockey Team traveled for a game against St. Luke’s School on February 21 with the final score 5-5.

Taking the ice, the Hornets were quick on the puck and defensive. The team fell behind going into the third period, but junior Tommy Lam and freshman Chris Tombaugh both scored one goal each. Senior and goalie Bryan Hong made an impressive 41 saves in the net to secure the final victory.

Coach Dante Tomassini noted that the win was a complete team effort and said everyone is excited for the first round of the tournament. 

Next up for the team is a game against Trinity Pawling School at the Ralph Walker Ice Rink on Monday, February 24, at 5:30 p.m. The team advanced to the Fairchester Athletic Association League semifinal game against King School on Thursday, February 27, at 3:15 p.m.
