The Boys’ Varsity Ice Hockey Team closed out its regular season with a 4-1 win against Trinity Pawling JV at the Ralph Walker Rink on February 24. The team has advanced to the Fairchester Athletic Association League playoffs.
With the postseason on the horizon, the team was fired up. Junior Noah Bush led the way scoring two goals and one assist followed by fellow junior Vincenzo Federico and sophomore Andrew Feldman, who scored one goal each. Andrew had two assists. Sophomore Michael Feldman had one assist and freshman Chris Tombaugh had two assists. Senior Bryan Hong and freshman Landon Kaliszewski both had 14 saves each in the net.
“The team was physically dominant, showing impressive intensity in every challenge," noted Coach Dante Tomassini. “Their passion was evident, as they pushed forward and played a complete game both offensively and defensively.”
The team returns to the ice for the semifinal game of the Fairchester Athletic Association League Tournament against King School on Thursday, February 27, at 3:15 p.m.
