The Boys’ Varsity Baseball Team traveled to King School for an afternoon game on Tuesday, April 1, winning 4-2.
Junior and starting pitcher Nic Scilla took the mound, only allowing two earned runs through six innings. Junior Amato Civitello closed out the game with no earned runs or hits. At the plate, Nic went 1-for-4 with a run and three stolen bases while Amato went 1-for-3 with a double and one RBI. Junior Luca Faulkner had two hits and senior Atticus Bird scored his first run of the season.
Coach Brad Chernovetz noted that the team record has improved to 3-0 in Fairchester Athletic Association League play.
The team returns home to the Skiff Street Athletic Complex for a second match game against King on Thursday, April 3, at 4:30 p.m.
