First Match Win for Girls’ Varsity Golf
The Girls’ Varsity Golf Team welcomed Greenwich Academy for its first-ever match at the New Haven Country Club on Thursday, April 11, winning 5-0.
Juniors Bryann O’Tinger and Berrak Simsek, sophomore Teresa Esposito, and freshmen Shawn Aurora and Lila Reiling all won their individual matches to secure the victory as Hamden Hall's first all ladies team. Previously, Hamden Hall always fielded a co-ed Varsity Golf Team.
Coach Keith Kaliszewski 1998 noted it was a successful outing for the team.
