John Clarke, Class of 1993, served from 1996 to 2004 in the Connecticut Army National Guard Bravo Battery 2/192 Field Artillery Division. He completed basic and advanced training at Fort Sill in Oklahoma.
In 2001, John was awarded the Department of the Army Achievement medal for distinguished service. In 2002, he was in the Joint Task Force Operation.
"I was also demoted and lost rank on three occasions for insubordination, which is worth noting - it’s pretty on brand for me," he said.
