The Girls’ Varsity Volleyball Team faced off against Fairchester Athletic Association League rival Masters School during an afternoon game on Saturday, September 30, winning 3-0.
Taking the court, the team was fired up and ready to play. Junior Theodora Aslan led with a strong serve while fellow juniors Tami Afolalu and Summer Krajcir dominated on the offensive power plays. Freshman Zhanna Milani and eighth-graders Anna Aslan and Scotland Beck kept strong on the defensive side while sophomore Grace Yang and eighth-grader Dashawna Aurora protected the net.
“It’s great to come back with a win,” commented Coach Gary Aurora. “These girls are working really hard together and being consistent with every play throughout the game.”
The team returns to the Beckerman Athletic Center for a match against Christian Heritage School on Monday, October 2, at 4:30 p.m.
