A Message from Head of School Bob Izzo

The Izzos have three children, all of whom are "lifers": Mike, who graduated from Hamden Hall in 2012 and the University of Notre Dame in 2016; Allison, who graduated in 2014 and from Wake Forest in 2018; and Christopher, who graduated in 2018 and is currently obtaining his master's at Boston College. Our students excel because of the opportunities they are afforded and the guidance they are provided by our esteemed faculty. We set high standards and our students respond with unflappable poise and resilience.
Yet just as important as our rigorous curriculum, Signature Programs, and myriad extracurricular activities is the foundation of social responsibility, respect, and global citizenship that is fostered in our students during their time under the pines. We care about the kinds of people our students become after they graduate.
