Split Tournament Win for Girls’ Varsity Basketball
The Girls’ Varsity Basketball team traveled to the Berkshire School for the Rose Classic Prep Jam Saturday, December 14, and Sunday, December 15.
In the first game against Kimball Union Academy, senior Emma Olausson led the way with 17 points with fellow seniors Summer Krajcir and Mackenzie Mori following behind with 14 points and 11 points respectively. The team won with a score of 63-40.
However, they fell to Northfield-Mt. Hermon in the second game with a score of 43-45. Seniors Mackenzie and Emma netted a combined 29 points and junior Reilly Chernovetz added 11 points to the scoreboard.
The Lady Hornets return to the court for a non-league tournament against Original Greatness Canada on Saturday, December 21, at 4 p.m., and Champlain St. Lambert on Sunday, December 22, at 10:40 a.m.
