The Girls’ Varsity Lacrosse Team traveled to Fairchester Athletic Association League rival Hopkins School for a game on Monday, May 6, ending with a 12-12 tie in double overtime.
Senior Lily Schoonmaker led the team with five goals and one assist with eighth-grader Kaja Millhouse right behind with four goals and one assist. Freshman Alex Tombaugh scored three goals and one assist while eighth-grader Chloe Zebrowski had one assist. Eighth-grader and goalie Scottie Beck made seven saves in the net to secure the tie.
Coach Emily Anderson noted that the team record is now 6-6-1 for the season.
The team returns to the field for a home game at the Skiff Street Athletic Complex against Greens Farms Academy on Wednesday, May 8, at 4:30 p.m.
