Class of 2019 alumnus John Carlo Letizia graduated from Connecticut College with a Bachelor of Art degree in English. He will attend Temple Law School in pursuit of his law degree in the fall.
At graduation, John Carlo was awarded the first-ever critical race and ethnicity certificate, which involved two years of extra work and study and is only granted to less than 2 percent of the graduating class. Additionally, he was granted the Conwell Scholarship with his admission to Temple Law School.
Outside of education, John Carlo is a musician and was invited to join the New London Drone Orchestra, the sole drone orchestra in Connecticut. Over the summer months, he performed concerts with the other members in downtown New London.
