Class of 2021 alumnus Liam Kohler competed in the 2024 CLRG Oireachtas World Irish Dance Championships.
The competition hosted in Glasgow, Scotland, welcomed elite dancers from around the world including Ireland, United Kingdom, the Czech Republic, Chile, Poland, the Netherlands, and Australia. Liam competed in the Senior Men 21 & Over open category and finished a fantastic 20th out of some 40 dancers.
Liam is currently a junior at Connecticut College and dancer at the Lenihan School of Irish Dance. He is the son of Hamden Hall faculty members Bud and Ann Kohler. Mr. Kohler noted that the competition was even more special because Liam was presented with his medal by Michael Flatley, the legendary creator and star of Riverdance and Lord of the Dance.
