The Boys’ Varsity Basketball Team welcomed Eagle Hill School for an afternoon game on Monday, December 9, winning 77-31.
Taking the court at the Beckerman Athletic Center, senior Ben Miller led the Hornets with 20 points while juniors Amato Civitello, Cole Christman, and freshman Jacob Huckaby netted a combined 31 points. Other scorers included sophomores Caleb Chapman, Christian Cournoo, Justin Ocasio, and eighth-grader Massa Toure.
“It was fun to be on the court and play alongside my teammates,” said Cole.
Coach Sean Doherty noted that the game was a well-scoring win, and he said he liked the collective team effort in the second half. The team record is now 4-0 for the season.
The team stays home at the Beckerman Athletic Center for a game against Fairchester Athletic Association League rival Hopkins School on Wednesday, December 11, at 6 p.m.
