The Boys’ Varsity Wrestling Team traveled to Pomfret School for its first tournament of the season on Saturday, December 7.
Along with Pomfret, the team competed against New York Military Academy and Marianapolis School. The competition was tough, but the team pulled out a dual win against Marianapolis with a score of 24-12.
Coach Kiernan Griffin 2000 noted that sophomore Carmine Cariati won all three of his matches by fall.
The team returns to the mat for a tournament against Choate Rosemary Hall, Hopkins School, and Greenwich Country Day School on Wednesday, December 11, at 3:30 p.m., at Choate.
