The Boys’ Varsity Ice Hockey Team traveled to Stamford for a game against Fairchester Athletic Association League rival Greenwich Country Day School on Thursday, December 12, winning 4-1.
It was a back-and-forth defensive effort for the Hornets and the Tigers. Junior Vincenzo Federico had two goals while fellow junior Tommy Lam also had two goals. Sophomore Andrew Feldman had two assists and freshman Landon Kaliszewski had 34 saves in the net to claim victory.
“This win against our rivals is exactly the start we were looking for,” said Coach Dante Tomassini. “It was a total collective effort from the entire team, who battled from puck drop to the very last whistle.
The team faces off for a non-league game against the Gunnery on Saturday, December 14, at 4 p.m.
