Boys’ Varsity Ice Hockey Skate to Victory
The Boys’ Varsity Ice Hockey Team traveled to The Frederick Gunn School for a non-league match on Saturday, December 14, winning 11-1.
Taking the ice, the Hornets took an early lead over the Highlanders, scoring the first five goals of the game. Several players added to the count with multiple goals and assists. Sophomore Theo Lam had his first career goal as senior Bryan Hong had a strong performance in the net to secure the game victory.
“The Hornets were buzzing Saturday night as the team had a dominant performance against Federick Gunn,” said Coach Dante Tomassini. “We look forward to the second half of the season.”
The team record is now 3-0 for the season. The Hornets return to the ice for a home game at Blake Rink against King School on January 8 at 4:30 p.m.
