Home Victory for Boys’ Varsity Ice Hockey
The Boys’ Varsity Ice Hockey Team welcomed Brunswick School to the Ralph Walker Ice Rink for a game on Tuesday, December 10, winning 7-2.
Taking the ice, the team was ready to go. Junior Vincenzo Federico scored three goals and two assists as fellow junior Tommy Lam followed with one goal for the Hornets. Junior Noah Bush had one goal and one assist as senior Niko Millhouse and junior Eli Kane both had two assists respectively. Senior Bryan Hong made great saves in the net and earned his first win of the season.
“The team came out strong, ending the first period leading 2-0,” said Coach Dante Tomassini. “However, we took a few penalties in the second period that kept Brunswick in the game. The gates opened in the third where we scored four goals to claim victory.”
The team returns to the ice against Greenwich Country Day School on Thursday, December 12, at 3:45 p.m.
