The Boys’ Varsity Soccer Team welcomed Wooster School for its season opener on Saturday, September 7, ending the game in a 3-3 tie.
Taking the fields at the Skiff Street Athletic Complex, it was a back-and-forth effort between the Hornets and the Generals. Senior Tyrese Cedon led the defense while fellow senior Cristiano Fernandes scored the first goal with an assist by sophomore Anton Cruz. Junior Kaleb Fiore scored the second goal off a rebound with sophomore Leo Dottori scoring the third goal.
“The boys gave a great effort and played their hearts out,” said Coach Michael Moore.
The team returns to the field for an away game against Christian Heritage School on Monday, September 9, at 4:15 p.m.
