The Boys’ Varsity Baseball Team welcomed King School for a home game on Tuesday, April 9, winning 15-1 in a record five innings.
Taking the field at the Skiff Street Athletic Complex, senior and starting pitcher Gavin Lyons threw three scoreless innings. Freshman AJ Park closed out the game as the relief pitcher for the final two innings, only giving up one run.
Coach Brad Chernovetz noted that Nicholas was awarded player of the game. The team record has now improved to 7-1 for the season.
The team takes on Fairchester Athletic Association League rival Rye Country Day School on Thursday, April 11, at 4:15 p.m.
