The Girls’ Varsity Lacrosse Team traveled to Greenwich for a game against Convent of the Sacred Heart on Friday, April 12, winning 15-3.
Taking the field, senior Lily Schoonmaker led the way with seven goals and three assists as eighth-grader Kaja Millhouse was right behind with four goals. Sophomore Emily Savik netted one goal and one assist while fellow sophomore Anya Carter scored one goal for the Hornets. Freshmen Charlotte Lebel and Alex Tombaugh both scored one goal each. Eighth-grader Scottie Beck earned the game victory with five saves in the net.
Coach Emily Anderson noted that the team record has now improved to 3-2 overall for the season.
The team returns home to the Skiff Street Athletic Complex for a game against King School on Monday, April 15, at 4:45 p.m.
