The Girls’ Varsity Softball Team traveled for a weekend game against The Gunnery on Saturday, April 27, winning 9-6.
Junior and starting pitcher Mara Patterson took the mound for three innings before eighth-grader Chloe Carling came in as relief to close out the game. At the plate, Chloe successfully hit a triple, allowing runs to score while freshman Mia Verderame and eighth-grader Teagan Bird both singled to get on base.
“What a great game,” commented Coach Laura Montone.
