The Weber Scholarship is an endowed scholarship in memory of Hamden Hall alumni siblings Anna, Emma, and William Weber. Hamden Hall is seeking motivated, talented students who will be successful in our academically challenging program and have a desire to be an active member of our school community. Hamden Hall is fortunate to be able to give several scholarships each year to new students entering grades 7-10 who are in the top five percent of the applicant pool. In addition to demonstrating good citizenship, recipients must also exhibit outstanding academic potential as determined by their performance on the competitive examination (ISEE or SSAT), their academic record, and extracurricular involvement.
A family’s financial situation is considered in determining the amount of the annual award. Candidates for the Weber Scholarship may also be considered for financial aid. A completed PFS through sss.nais.org will aid the committee in understanding a family’s financial situation. A student’s application for admission must be complete by January 15. The last day to sit for the ISEE or SSAT and still be considered for a Weber Scholarship is January 15. If you wish the committee to consider the PFS, it must also be completed by January 15. These special Weber Scholarships will be awarded in early February. In addition to the Weber Scholarship Program, more than 20 percent of our students receive need-based financial aid.
