Senior Night and Game Win for Boys’ Varsity Lacrosse
The Boys’ Varsity Lacrosse Team welcomed Fairchester Athletic Association League rival Kingswood-Oxford for a game on Wednesday, May 1, winning 12-5.
Before taking the field at the Skiff Street Athletic Complex, the team celebrated seniors and captains Jake Cacace, Andrew Grillo, and Daniel Vining during a special ceremony. Coach Kiernan Griffin 2000 said a few words before the players were able to take photos with their families.
“These three players are a special group of leaders full of grit and have been a huge part of the team’s success this season,” said Coach Griffin.
On the field, the Hornets came out strong and held on throughout the second half of the game. Freshman Logan Rapuano netted four goals and two assists.
The team also won its previous home game against Williams School with a score of 14-7 on Monday, April 29.
The team takes on King School during an away game on Friday, May 3, at 4:30 p.m.
