Musicians Selected to 2020-2021 Regional Festival
Five Upper School instrumentalists were selected to the 2020-2021 Connecticut Music Educators'
Southern Region High School Festival for recognition in various ensembles.
Junior Bailey Smoko was selected on trumpet for the Jazz Ensemble; senior Parker Schultz was selected on alto saxophone for the Band; junior Daniel Vash was selected on flute for the Orchestra; junior Lucy Xu was selected on flute for the Band; and junior Kate Xie was selected on mallets/xylophone for the Band.
Bailey Smoko scored a perfect score on his classical trumpet audition, according to instrumental music teacher Melissa Hudson.
