The Boys’ Varsity Ice Hockey team welcomed Kingswood-Oxford for a game on Monday, February 12, winning 6-1 and clinched a spot in the Fairchester Athletic Association League playoffs.
Senior Danny Vining scored two goals while fellow senior Jake Cacace and sophomores Vincenzo Federico, Eli Kane, and Tom Lam all scored one goal for the Hornets. In the net, eighth-grader and goalie Landon Kaliszewski blocked several opponent shot attempts to secure the team win.
Coach Tim Belcher noted that the team record is now 10-6-2 overall and 5-3-1 in the FAA.
The team hosts St. Luke’s School for the final conference regular season game on Friday, February 16, at 3:30 p.m.
