Ralph L. Abato, Past Grandparent and Parent of Hamden Hall Faculty Member

Ralph L. Abato, of Guilford, died October 16 at home surrounded by his family. Ralph was predeceased by his wife, Sheila. He is survived by three children and five grandchildren. His daughter Elizabeth "Beth" Hunter is a Hamden Hall faculty member, and parent of Hamden Hall alumni, Ryan Hunter, Class of 2009, and Sara Hunter, Class of 2012.
 
Ralph was a 1951 graduate of Wilbur Cross High School and went on to graduate from University of Connecticut in 1955. Before his retirement, he worked in management for the State of Connecticut, Department of Administrative Services.
