The Boys’ Varsity Baseball Team took on Wilbraham & Monson Academy for an afternoon matchup on Monday, April 15, winning 8-2.
Junior and starting pitcher Logan Charboneau took the mound through five innings, striking out seven players and only allowing one hit. Senior Ryan Lynch closed out the game as the relief pitcher.
The Hornets found success at the plate as Logan singled in the third inning and senior Nicholas Criscuolo doubled and hit a sacrifice fly, allowing two runs to score.
Coach Brad Chernovetz noted that the team record has improved to 9-1 for the season.
The team returns home to the Skiff Street Athletic Complex for a game against Hopkins School on Tuesday, April 16, at 4:30 p.m.
