The Boys’ Varsity Tennis Team traveled for a match against Masters School on Saturday, April 20, winning 4-3. This marks the fourth straight win for the team.
The Hornets were down with a score of 3-2 before double team senior Will Christman and junior Grayson Nichols won their sets with a score of 4-6, 7-5, and 10-7 to tie the match at 3-3. Sophomore Max Rickey successfully won his sets in the singles match with a score of 7-5 and 6-4 to close out the game with the 4-3 victory.
“The team is off to an amazing start this season and everyone is playing with a lot of confidence,” said Coach Kevin Brueler.
The team returns home to the James R. Maggart court for a match against Harvey School on Wednesday, April 24, at 4:30 p.m.
