Mini Reunion for ‘67 and ‘68 Alumni

It was a night of remembrance, nostalgia, and chatting about high school memories as alumni from the Classes of 1967 and 1968 met up at Haven Beer Company in Hamden.

Class of 1967 alumni James “Jim” Winston, Gary Moss, and Mike Musco along with Class of 1968 alumni Guy Guarino and Robert “Bob” Fischbach gathered recently following the passing of their good friend and Class of 1968 alumnus Jeffrey Smith. Guy noted that Jim Winston coordinated the mini reunion.

“We stayed for about three hours, held a toast for Jeff, and did what came so natural - laughed,” explained Guy, adding that they also discussed the “good times” both at Hamden Hall and in their current lives.

The group has been friends since 1965 with Jim and Jeff knowing each other even longer. They all played Varsity Football together while under the pines, with Jeffrey playing center. Guy noted that both the 1967 and 1968 Hamden Hall Varsity Football teams were pretty comparable on the gridiron.
