Overtime Win for Girls’ Varsity Field Hockey
The Girls’ Varsity Field Hockey Team welcomed Mount Saint Charles Academy for an afternoon game on Thursday, October 10, winning 3-2 in overtime.
Taking the field at the Skiff Street Athletic Complex, it was a back-and-forth battle between the Hornets and the Mounties. Senior Ella Bessoni netted two goals for the team. As the score was tied at two, the game went into overtime. Ella scored the winning goal with 3:28 left and secured the victory.
The team returns to the field for an away game against Miss Porter’s School on Monday, October 14, at 4:30 p.m.
