Carl Fedde, Major, U.S. Army, 1960-1984

Major Carl Fedde, Class of 1960, served in the U.S. Army from 1960 to 1984.
 
Carl was deployed six times during his two-plus decades in the Army, both during peacetime and periods of conflict.
 
With the 1st Battlegroup 17th Infantry, Carl was deployed to South Korea, where he was stationed from May 1961 to August 1962. In November 1964, Carl was deployed to West Germany with the 2nd Battalion 15th Infantry Regiment, 3rd Infantry Division until May 1966.
 
In September of 1966, Carl was deployed to South Vietnam with the 42nd Scout Dog Platoon,1st Brigade, 101st Airborne Division. He remained there through August 1967. He was again station in South Vietnam with the 1st Aviation Battalion, 1st Infantry Division, from January 1969 through January 1970.
 
Between July 1977 and January 1980, Carl was positioned in Alaska, and he concluded his time in the military in South Korea at the Headquarters of 8th U.S. Army, from June 1983 through July 1984.
